Our UX Process
For any new product & service UX design projects, I usually start by observing, engaging and empathizing with users to understand their experiences and motivations as well as immersing ourselves in the physical environment so that I can gain a deeper personal understanding of the issues involved. As a designer we should avoid any kind of assumptions, so empathy is crucial for a human-centered design process. My UX process starts from Strategy, Discovery/Empathising, Defining (the problem), Ideating (brainstorming), Prototyping (mood board, sketching, wire-framing etc.) and Testing. It is an iterative process so, these five activates can go back and forth many times.
But Web 3.0 has many new additions like, they are highly dynamic, data & user-driven, interactivity, social features, haptic interaction, sound & vibration, streaming etc. So, I will add, Interactive User Interface Design including motion graphics, sound/voice and dynamic UI Development in my process.
Essentially UI developers will do the development, but we should be guiding them and make sure that the things are out the way we ideated and designed in line with business and end-user needs.
For existing projects, the design process is the same, but I usually start by understanding the current stage of design by doing a thorough expert review and a comprehensive UX audit. Then go through all the measurable key performance indicators (KPI) data (Qualitative and Quantitative) and find out the “pain points” and start re-thinking/evaluating those points along with key stakeholders, end-users, investors etc.

The engagement with the client was to find a design solution for the logistics problem that the organization was facing for years. The software development company which was assigned for software development tasks invited me to join the team to build a solid logistic software that brings value to the entire logistic and truck management for Bhaskar Logistics. The extensive research revealed the key pain points and was able to bring a meaningful solution that is accepted by all key stakeholders.

Essentially such engagement starts with UX Surveys, Design Sprints, Ethnography, Empathizing sessions etc. and ends with a high-level prototype.
